Chargers' Mathews Misses Practice

Ryan Mathews, the running back of Chargers have not been able to attend his second consecutive practice session because of a high ankle sprain. With every missed practice session, Mathews’ chances of playing in the coming games have decreased significantly. It is less likely that the rookie will be able to play for the Chargers on Sunday against Seattle. This news has disheartened the sportsbook betting fans and the Chargers’ followers.

Although Norv Turner, the coach of Chargers, is still maintaining that Mathews is recovering from the injury and he has not been ruled out of the Sunday’s game as of now. Mathews sustained the ankle injury while playing against Jacksonville on Sunday, when Chargers registered a home victory.

Apparently, Mathews analyzed the condition of his right ankle in some cutting exercises and on the treadmill, before making it to the practice session, which he had to miss at last. He still suffers from an sore joint and discomfort in the knee, however, maintains that the injury won’t deter him from playing if he is allowed to do so, which has provided some relief to the anxious Super Bowl betting fans.

UFC Odds Not Pressurizing Jared Hamman

Jared Hamman is one hard nut to crack! The UFC heavyweight said he has nothing to lose in his match on Sept 15 against Kingsbury and does not feel any pressure. The fighter, who gave up football coaching in lieu for mixed martial arts, has UFC odds favoring him big time, before the match. If he wins, it will be his second victory in the UFC. However, if he loses, Hamman will most likely be dismissed from the biggest MMA organization in the world.

Hamman suffered his first-career loss at the hands of Po’ai Suganuma in April 2008. The heavyweight later on avenged his loss with a first-round TKO win the same year. The match was his last for nearly 15 months. In 2009, he sought out new management and got a contract with the UFC. His UFC debut came against Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 105 in Manchester, England. Hamman was knocked out in that match in just 41 seconds. However, the strong man that he is, Hamman came back to the winning ways by defeating Rodney Wallace at UFC 111, which earned Fight of the Night honors.

With so much on the line, Sports Betting Odds are bound to fluctuate. It will be interesting to see how Hamman manages the pressure. At the end of the match, will he have all or nothing?
